As a solo traveler, I felt so welcomed and cozy, with great attention to detail and a clean, comfy room.

the wentworth really missed the mark, my "king room" was freezing cold upon arrival—heating woefully absent, just like complimentary water, which is unthinkable. and the shower? lukewarm at best. i almost shared my praises but it's hard to do when your expectations go utterly unrecieved.

Had an awesome time with friends! The breakfast selection was fantastic, and we loved the cozy atmosphere. Ideal base to explore local attractions like the Dartmouth Steam Railway and Kingswear Castle. Chris and Amelia were great hosts providing helpful tips. Just a short walk to the beach and restaurants.
Finding parking on the road was a bit tricky during our stay. Although the owners offered driveway space, it was still challenging at times.

Amazing stay with wonderful hosts
I just had a fantastic 4-night stay! Chris and Amelia are incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. My room was spacious and the breakfast options were fantastic, with lots of variety to choose from. Plus, it’s only a short walk to the beach and local shops. One thing I noticed is that the decor could use a bit of refreshing, but it didn’t take away from my overall experience.

This place was a fantastic base for exploring Paignton! We loved taking a trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway along the stunning coast. The hosts made us feel right at home and our room was cozy enough for the whole family, including our 7 kids.
My wife says that it would be great to have more family-friendly activities at the guesthouse.

Paignton paradise 🌊
The brekkie was next level! Proper made-to-order with local ingredients, and those views over the park? Wow! Lynne was always happy to chat about the area, which made us feel really at home. Our room was super comfy and clean, just what we needed after exploring.
Finding parking can be a bit of a mission sometimes. we drove around a few times before scoring a spot.

wonderful hospitality but room decor needs updating
The guest house offered an atmosphere of warmth and kindness from the moment I walked in. The owners, Amelia and Chris, were incredibly accommodating, going out of their way to ensure my comfort. I particularly enjoyed the beautiful garden view that provided a peaceful backdrop to my stay.
The room decor felt slightly dated and could benefit from a refresh.

The breakfast is top-notch, featuring homemade and local produce that really hits the spot. Plus, you get some great views of Goodrington Park, which makes for a pleasant morning experience.
The parking situation can be a hassle at times. finding a space on the street often feels like a scavenger hunt. some of the bathrooms are surprisingly small, and the shower pressure could be better, as I encountered lukewarm water during my stay. On top of that, Wi-Fi tends to falter occasionally, making it tricky to stay connected when you need it.
